It all started with a simple fascination. I’ve always been curious about how things work, the mechanisms, the design, and the hidden details most people overlook. Lifts, in particular, caught my attention. They weren’t just machines to me; they were moving pieces of architecture, combining engineering with everyday life.

At first, I’d find myself noticing little details others ignored: the sound of the motor, the panel designs, the smoothness of the ride. I began filming lifts out of curiosity, wanting to capture the unique differences between them. What started as a personal hobby quickly grew into something more.

As I spent more time on LinkedIn, I noticed that the lift industry wasn’t showing its true potential. Most of the photos and videos being shared were snapped quickly on an iPhone, never in HD, never capturing the real quality of the engineering. I saw an opportunity to change that. My goal became clear: to bring high-quality, professional visuals into the industry and help it move into the future.

The more I filmed, the more I realised each lift had its own story. Whether it was a modern, glass-fronted elevator in a new building or an older, vintage system tucked away in a corner of history, they all reflected a mix of design, technology, and human experience.

Over time, filming lifts became more than just a pastime, it became my passion. It gave me a way to combine creativity with curiosity, to document and share something most people rarely stop to think about. Through my camera, I aim to give others a chance to see what I see: that even the everyday has a story worth telling.
